The Bouncy Ball Turn
Fifi loves her new bouncy ball, but when her little brother wants a turn, she has to decide if sharing is more fun.
Boing! The red ball bounced high off the grass. Fifi caught it and laughed. Momo's ears twitched with every bounce.
Little Leo ran over. "Can I try?" he asked. Fifi held the ball tight. "It's my new ball!" Momo tilted his head. "Why can't he play too?"
Fifi looked at Leo's hopeful face. "Okay, one turn, " she said. Leo grabbed the ball and bounced it so hard it flew over the fence! "Oh no!" gasped Fifi.
They peeked through a gap and saw the ball in a bush. "We need a stick to reach it, " Fifi said. Momo squeezed under the fence but got stuck halfway. His fluffy tail wagged wildly. Fifi and Leo giggled and gently pulled him out.
Working together, they used a long stick to roll the ball back. Soon it plopped into Fifi's hands. "Let's take turns catching it!" she said. Leo nodded.
Momo chased the ball whenever it bounced away. His tail twirled and he pounced like a kitten. At sunset, the red ball glowed and Fifi cheered for Leo's best catch yet.
