Fifi's Fluffy Promise

Fifi promises to fold the laundry, but Momo turns a towel into a ghost. A gentle story about keeping your word.

2 min readAges 5-8

"Fifi, can you fold these towels while I take a call?" Mom asks. Fifi nods.

Momo spots a sock on the floor. "What about the towels?" he asks, but Fifi is already laughing as the sock skitters across the floor.

Fifi chases the sock with Momo, then sees the towel pile. "One more minute, " she says, but Momo pulls a towel over his head.

He wobbles like a ghost, and Fifi giggles. Then she stops. "We should fold before Mom comes back, " she says, shaking the towel off Momo.

Fifi folds a towel carefully. Momo tries to help, squishing one flat with his paws. Soon they have a neat stack.

Mom returns and smiles. "You kept your promise." Fifi hugs Momo beside the fluffy pile, his tail curled around the towels.
